1. amd is more powerful than pentium(having an AMD 1.8ghz = p4 2.4ghz, yes it's true)
beside, you save LOTS of money~. amd = cheap ,pentium = expensive
pentium = over heat , amd = less voltage less heat

2. vista sucks(really, appearance is all what it has >.>), xp is unstable but common for running games, ubuntu linux is virus free(recommended for server/office use ONLY)

3. asrock mother board rocks(on board memory / it can support ur CPU forever if u want an upgrade attempt for the near future /no1 )

4. dual video card rockx( frame rendering increases up to 70%, common sense yeah)

those are some few tips for those who want to build a cool pc.

o well, im still loyal player to this server, more power and i hope the server will be up soon. ^^

Intel Centrino isn't a CPU. It's a mobile platform (used in laptops) which INCLUDES a CPU, a chipset, etc. This is pointless to put in a desktop. The reason being the platform was designed mainly for mobile PCs (laptops).

Enjoy your "T3" too. I'm sure you have that sort of money to burn. A LOT... of money to burn (enterprise wide)... Good luck with that.

It is a powerful platform for a laptop. But that's just it. It IS DESIGNED for mobile devices. Like... say... longer battery life. Now a desktop uses a power outlet (no battery lol). What is the point? Planning to host it on a laptop? Enjoy constant downtime (more than poohRO) and a short-lived machine. LOL. Please.... you are spouting ridiculous stuff. when you open an application, intel processors gives you what you only need for the application( yeah, intelligent right)
while AMD on the other hand, u open an application and it gives you the whole performance needed for an application.

intel processors travels the mother board( therefore mother board bus speed is a factor) to access the memory controller then travels again to acces the ram and other stuffs.
while amd processors have a memory controller inside it's processors to access the ram directly lessening the travel time for processors,hdd,ram and the likes....
